- Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency is seeking an energetic bilingual - Spanish and English, detail-oriented self-starter with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, including, but not limited to: providing general support to synchronize care of clients with multiple medical comorbidities and/or co-occurring substance use disorders who utilize the public health behavioral health system. This position addresses professional and administrative duties necessary for the efficient use of services by engaging with community agencies and care providers on the client’s behalf to help link clients to community resources and follow-up care. Additional responsibilities include: providing direction and guidance to individuals, contract providers and allied agencies to assure alignment with the State’s mission and desired outcomes; administering transitioning of state hospital clients into Assisted Living Units. An important aspect of the position is the ability to provide professional and knowledgeable representation to external agencies, preparing reports and keeping well-organized records using a computer. Intra-state travel required.
Minimum requirements:
- Must be fluent in writing and speaking Spanish and English
- Five (5) years of related work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Proficiency in written and oral communication – English and Spanish
