As a Substance Abuse Counselor with Bridgeway, you will build an alliance with your clients by providing education and motivation to support them in making positive changes in their lives and reducing the negative consequences of substance use and abuse. You will take on a client-centered approach using evidence-based and trauma-informed care practices. In addition, you will have the opportunity to use motivational interviewing techniques to establish therapeutic rapport and facilitate active engagement in services.
CADC I or higher required; or in candidacy status with the ability to obtain a CADC certification with MHACBO within 6 months
