Carroll Community College seeks a full-time Director of Student Care and Integrity.
Job Summary
Responsible for creating a vision for student conduct and success on campus, which includes proactive programming, program assessment, data collection, data management and student crisis response. This position provides stewardship of the College’s Code of Integrity for Academic and Behavioral Standards, Student Rights and Responsibilities, student conduct system, and case management. Interventions, referrals and follow up will be utilized to connect students to resources to help overcome barriers to success. Overall responsibilities include maintaining the policies, documents, and procedures related to the Integrity Code and student conduct system of the college, chairing the student Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), and collaborating with various offices, people and community partners to provide direct follow up to students in distress. This position reports to the Senior Director of Advising and Retention.
Minimum Requirements To Perform Work:
- Completed master’s degree in higher education administration, social work, psychology, college student personnel, or related field
- Two years of professional experience working in higher education or similar setting (residence life, secondary education counseling, or human services.).
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
- Direct experience with crisis management, student case management, decision-making based on data, training of faculty and staff preferred.
- Must be proactive and student-oriented, with a proven track record of effectively meeting the needs of students including special student populations within a college setting.
- Understands the needs of diverse students and creates an inclusive and safe environment for all students.
- Must be positive, cooperative and supportive
