MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
Note: 1. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in another field, plus one year of professional experience in health services, may be substituted for the specific degree.
- Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a Commissioned Officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health related field of work, on a year-for-year basis, for the required experience and education.

As part of Governor Hogan's 'Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery' plan, contact tracing is a critical piece of minimizing the spread of disease in the community, while allowing the careful and coordinated reopening of the economy. This position will be responsible for speaking with individuals identified as contacts to confirm probable cases of COVID-19. This position will also conduct interviews, in order to collect and share information related to the following: contacts' symptoms and risk; contacts' quarantine or isolation responsibility; additional information on exposure; guidance on minimizing their risk of potential transmission; and, the details and processes for continued monitoring.
