Dental Practice Assistant Manager Long-Term, Full-Time Assist our Practice Manager in being responsible for the smooth running of our established, family owned, 9 - operatory family dental practice in Frederick, Maryland (drhlevyassoc.com).
Your goals will be to ensure that:
- our 8+ thousand active patients receive quality dental care and are satisfied with their experience with our practice;
- our 27 team members and 5 doctors feel supported in a stable, predictable work environment;
- 55-60 new patients we see each month feel welcomed and informed about our practice.
You will support a full range of office management duties including, but not limited to:
- overseeing the day-to-day running of the office
- coordinating and supporting our team members and doctors in doing their best work
- reviewing the billing, insurance and collection process, and administering payroll
This position will suit you if you:
- have experience working in a dental practice
- have excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- are detail-oriented and also able to see the whole picture
- are comfortable working cooperatively with management and staff, learning new skills, being self-directed, and making decisions
- are a strategic thinker who likes to figure out how to do things even better
- are seeking a long-term position as the operations manager of a privately owned dental practice.
Applicants must demonstrate in the resume and interview that they have:
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 1 year of managerial experience
- 2 years of HR experience (PHR certification preferred)
- Dental/Dentrix background preferred
- extensive computer experience, especially e-mail, MS Word and MS Excel
- excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- an appreciation for people from all cultures and of all ages and physical capabilities
