Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation seeks Clinical Analytics Systems Architect to design, develop, code, test, debug, and implement software for systems to analyze operational and clinical data, etc.


Design, develop, code, test, debug, and implement software for systems to analyze operational and clinical data. Perform sophisticated data analysis to create Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) reports and Tableau dashboards that will be used to provide meaningful information to support and inform operations, quality, and safety improvement initiatives for Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS). Distill and articulate a technical and organizational approach to JHHS’s clinical data needs. Recommend and implement information systems to collect data needed for various JHHS reports. Automate Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) code modules for data warehouse, data integration, and business intelligence projects using tools such as Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) and Informatica PowerCenter tools. Develop operations plans, prepare clinical reports, and create dashboards using enterprise-level reporting packages such as Tableau desktop and SAP Business Objects. Develop dashboards for trending analysis to support business planning, predictive analytics, and volume forecasting. Determine options and best practices for ETL design techniques, such as change data capture, key generation, and optimization and performance tuning. Optimize SQL programming. Tune and improve performance of SQL queries with MS SQL Server database. Design ETL solutions for data migration and data integration. Design and develop data quality and profiling routines for cleansing the data with Informatica tools. Use patient encounter data to run predictive models in order to identify potential risks and opportunities. Provide strategic guidance for automating business processes and architecting data warehouses using industry best practices. Apply knowledge of big data framework and programming in Python for advanced data processing and analytics. Perform other related duties as assigned.
