As Government Finance Account Manager you will be taking over the maintenance and growth of existing relationships  between the bank and the municipality (or the broker acting on behalf of the municipality): creating quotes; answering  questions; identifying and resolving issues; and obtaining information to relate to the client regarding file status. This  positions will require strong interpersonal and customer service skills, especially when communicating over the phone or  via email, but candidates should also have the ability to balance client desires with the bank requirements.  

The Government Finance Account Manager will also work closely with originators and the processing team to ensure  that files are completed on time. Initiative, time management, and organizational skills will benefit you in this position as  you enter into the niche market of tax-exempt municipal finance. Previous knowledge and experience with reading and  understanding financial statements is helpful and preferred. Training on organizational software and processes will be  provided.
