Commercial HVAC Mechanics

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the department, with potential for career growth. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in commercial service or installation work. They must be familiar with HVAC systems including, Chiller operation, cooling towers, water sourced heat pumps, motors, pumps and fan coils. Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team. The preferred candidates will have a State Journeyman's license and a Universal CFC certification. This is a full-time position scheduled to work 37.5 hours each week. Various work schedules are available.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • State HVAC journeyman's license preferred
  • Universal CFC certification
  • 3 to 5 years field HVAC experience
  • Skilled with troubleshooting HVAC equipment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule

Job duties:

  • Maintain commercial HVAC equipment
  • Troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment
  • Perform service and repairs in a timely manner, with or without supervision
  • Suggest repairs and provide effective solutions to increase efficiency
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule

High School Diploma and experience in commercial HVAC service is required. Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be able to rotate through the on-call schedule, covering evenings, weekends, and holidays. Vocational and technical training is highly preferred.
