The Division of Finance and Administration (DFA) is seeking to hire and train two highly motivated Financial Analyst Trainees. The Financial Analyst Trainee will learn how to financially manage multi-million dollar grants according to State and Federal regulations. This is a great opportunity for graduates and/or undergraduates with a Finance or Accounting degree to acquire hands-on experience to learn how to consolidate and analyze financial data in accordance with DHCD’s goals and financial standing.  The incumbent will learn how to provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance by reading complicated agreements to approve expenditures and draw revenues to ensure compliance with the grant awards. The position will be responsible for drawing funds from the federal system, reconcile accounts, and issue quarterly federal and financial reports. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business  Administration, Economics, Accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university. Must provide college transcripts.
