Electrician
Maryland Environmental Service has two openings for an Electrician/Senior Electrician, and a Lead Electrician: one at our BWI Airport facility (Elec/Sr) and one at our facility in Crownsville, MD (Lead). Both openings are within the Environmental Monitoring Division. Responsibilities include performing installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment used for a variety of environmental projects.
Minimum Requirements:
HS Diploma/GED, and a minimum of three years’ experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment. Lead level requires at least 7yrs of experience. Preferred candidate's experience will have a focus on motors, pump functions, control panels, and will be familiar with NEC 2008/2011 requirements. Formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to three years of the required experience. Must have a valid driver’s license with less than five points, possess the ability to lift 50 lbs., and possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Position requires ability to obtain Security Clearance for BWI Airport. Crownsville facility may require ability to obtain Clearance.

$32,915.63 - $69,698.42
