Position/s: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer (Senior Administrator II)
Salary: $68,000 - $98,000 negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Principal Duties: The purpose of this position is to provide professional staff support to the General Assembly and Department in the areas of workplace diversity, equity and inclusion, including efforts to support the General Assembly’s anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies and programs.
Duties will include developing the agency’s inclusion and equity program’s long-range plans, goals, objectives, and evaluating their effectiveness; developing and implementing programs designed to meet the agency’s goals of a diverse and inclusive workforce through retention and recruitment efforts; serving as a direct report of harassment violations; conduct investigations into unlawful workplace activity; maintain strict discretion and confidentiality; and develop and present equivalent training programs.

Qualifications:
 Experience in conducting anti-harassment and anti-bias training.
 Relevant degree or certifications in employment policies; employment law; or a related field is required.
 Experience in investigations, including harassment, discrimination and other human resources related investigations.
 Excellent writing and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
 Familiarity with standard computer programs. Ability to use spreadsheet software desired.
 Ability to work independently, in teams, and under time pressures.
 Availability for extended work hours, including weekend work, during the 90-day legislative session (January – mid-April) and at other times to meet legislative deadlines.
