Director of Maintenance

The Maryland State Fair & Agricultural Society, Inc. in Timonium is seeking a hands-on, experienced Director of Maintenance to lead a team of employees in the day-to-day facility upkeep of the Maryland State Fairgrounds and Racetrack, its facilities, its year-round rental event operations and the annual Maryland State Fair. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance/facility operations and 2+ years in leadership, with knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Must be ready to work nights/weekends during peak events. Excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly.
