Sr Software Developer

The Nielsen Company (US), LLC seeks Sr. Software Developer (Columbia, MD):  Responsible for analyzing, developing, testing and supporting highly complex System Robotic Process Automation application software for audio measurement operations. Min reqs: Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with an information technology focus (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) plus 3 years of experience in software development (would also accept a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience). This must include 3 years of experience in/with: use of master data management principles; use of software design and testing principles; analysis of product data such as common error patterns; development of Robotic Process Automation  components using software technologies such as UIPath, Robot Framework, Open RPA, Automagica, Ride and/or Sikuli, and programming languages such as Microsoft.NET, Shell Script, JavaScript and/or PHP, and integration with third-party UI-based technologies; use of analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex design and coding problems; and working as a member of a team.
