Licensed Social Worker

Open Door Center in Valley City, ND is seeking a Full Time Licensed Social Worker. ODC is a non-profit corporation that provides services to people with disabilities.  

Social work duties include but are not limited to communicating with individuals and family/guardians. Secures information about and assures coordination and provision of all needed services such as medical, psychological and social. Provides counseling, assists with development, implementation and documentation of the Support Plan. Provides case management functions; serves as Chair of Rights Committee; completes social histories, assists with referral applications and coordinates services with program directors.

Qualifications: Experience working for people with cognitive disabilities, brain injury, and mental health issues preferred, experience in other disability areas considered; 4-year degree required; Social Work License in the state of North Dakota required; driver’s license required; proficiency in database helpful; superior interpersonal and organizational skills; prior experience preferred.
