Director, Administrative Operations -- Legal Department at The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation – East Baltimore.
Duties:
This is a leadership position for a non-attorney in a large and busy corporate legal department, which includes over 30 attorneys and over 50 para-professionals and support staff members located in multiple locations. The Director reports to the Deputy General Counsel and is responsible for the management of all core administrative functions of the Department, including, but not limited to, human resources, budgeting, payroll, expense reimbursement, vendor bill processing, equipment and supplies acquisition, training, etc. This position develops annual fiscal operating and capital budgets and prepares Departmental strategic plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a professional level of knowledge in finance and business administration in order to effectively manage the administrative activities of the Department. Completion of a Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Master’s degree preferred. At least 7 years of administrative/supervisory experience in business operations and finance is required.
