Director of Case Management
The Synergy Organization is proud to have been retained by MedStar Health to conduct the national search for their Director of Case Management – MedStar Union Memorial Hospital and MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, both centrally located in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Director of Case Management will enjoy providing oversight and guidance in the areas of Utilization, Case Management, and Discharge Planning for the two hospital locations, and will serve as a leader, mentor and trusted advisor to associates and medical staff regarding best practices in patient management.
- MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital https://www.medstargoodsam.org/our-hospital/ is a not-for-profit 201-bed, adult care community teaching hospital. Recognized as a specialty center for rehabilitation and orthopaedics, the Hospital’s anchor services include cancer care, diabetes care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, hyperbaric medicine and wound healing, inpatient rehabilitation, interventional radiology, vascular care, and wellness.
- MedStar Union Memorial Hospital https://www.medstarunionmemorial.org/ is a not-for-profit, 223-bed acute care teaching hospital with a strong emphasis on cardiac care, orthopaedics and sports medicine. The successful candidate will bring a passion for quality patient care, a high level of professionalism, exceptional communication and organizational skills and at least 3 years of healthcare leadership experience in Case Management. Deep experience in program development and evaluation is required, along with a deep knowledge of regulatory standards and laws. A Masters Degree in a related field is required. Candidates with a Registered Nursing License are preferred.
