Responsibilities: |
As the Steamfitter Shop Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible to provide technical/mechanical oversight to maintain the campus chilled water & high temperature high pressure water distribution systems. These systems operate with temperatures ranging from 44 degrees Fahrenheit to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and pressures ranging from 12 psi to 400 psi. Specific responsibilities include: providing preventive and corrective maintenance on all associated equipment; evaluating proposed system changes to ensure system safety and operational performance are maintained; planning for periodic system maintenance; and performing other duties as assigned. |
Required Minimum Qualifications: |
A high school diploma or GED and seven years progressively responsible experience in the trade(s) where assigned to include at least four years in a lead or supervisory capacity. Valid non-commercial Class "C" or equivalent driver's license required. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Preferably steamfitter/plumbing mechanical trades |
