The Change Management Lead for the University of Maryland College Park’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project works under the direct supervision of Assistant Vice President, ERP. The incumbent will lead primary ERP communications with stakeholder groups, oversee the creation and delivery of a robust training program to the University community, and monitor and react to challenges identified by the University community. Working closely with the Workday implementation partner (vendor) and the ERP program leadership, the Change Management Lead co-leads all change management efforts related to the Workday ERP program, the creation of strategy and action plans, training curriculum development and delivery, and oversees Workday go-live support.
 
 
Minimum qualifications
 
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Communications, or other relevant area

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience
- Insightful, technology aware hands-on leader with senior level leadership skills, presence, and    communication skills
- Experience collecting and measuring change impacts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Possess a generally positive attitude
- Ability to employ active listening
- Ability to translate complex topics into consumable messages
- Experience with training and supervising staff in business processes and business systems
- Prior responsibilities involving communications with campus communities
- Understanding of Change Management practices
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to successfully work in integrated product teams
 


Preferences 
- Master’s Degree in an appropriate field
- Experience in large scale projects
- Ideally have prior experience with new system implementations at UMD (e.g., Kuali,TerpEngage, Salesforce) or the development/refinement of key business processes
